I occasionally check TED.com for any interesting new talks, and today I came across a pretty cool one by biologist Robert Full, on what we are learning about geckos from attempts to mimic their legendary climbing abilities. Here's a link to the talk (with a link to download or watch a high definition mp4 version):
Robert Full:Geckos in wind tunnels, snazzy biomimetic robots, rock climbing, multidisciplinary approaches to doing science - it's bound to be well worth 10 minutes of your time! ;)
